About the World Vision Experience

The World Vision Experience provides interactive, meaningful ways for your community to get a glimpse of poverty in the developing world and engage with the needs of children and families. Since we launched our first tour in 2005, the World Vision Experience has partnered with hundreds of communities and churches across the country, including Saddleback, Willow Creek, and The Potter’s House.

In this time, we've seen the transformative effect that this type of encounter with poverty can have for those who may never have the chance to visit a developing country. Visitors come away understanding the needs of those living in poverty more deeply and empathetically, and feel empowered to make a lasting difference.

"Travel" to Kisongo, Tanzania through this immersive experience and hear the real-life story of how 13-year-old Babayetu’s community moved from poverty to hope with help from World Vision and caring supporters.
